Welcome to the Office of International Affairs (OIA) of the Colorado Springs International Affairs Advisory Council which was established by the Mayor and City Council. The office is a coordinating agency for International activities and programs in Colorado Springs and is a “one-stop-shop” for local companies interested in international business and trade.
The OIA seeks out opportunities for local businesses in Colorado Springs to increase their sales in international markets; encourages investments from overseas in Colorado Springs; and brings prominent officials from other countries to Colorado Springs through the International Visitors Program of the U.S. Department of State.
OIA programs include:
Monthly International Business Seminars Mayor's International Luncheon Annual Mission to Washington (in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce) Special International Trade Events
The OIA also manages the Colorado Springs Committee for International Visitors which hosts world leaders brought to the United States by the U.S. Department of State.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS NETWORKING COFFEES are usually held on the second Wednesday of each month. Networking begins at 7:30 a.m.; presentations from 8 to 9 a.m.
These presentations are held at the Pikes Peak Work Force Center at 2306 East Pikes Peak Avenue.
There is no charge for the programs, but please reserve a place by e-mail to internationalaffairs@cscc.org.

Be a supplier to the London 2012 Olympics
The British Olympic Authorities will be spending twelve billion dollars to prepare for the London 2012 Olympics. They will be buying everythiing from computer services to pool heaters. You can register your company as a potential supplier at the official site which is www.competefor.com. Registration takes about half an hour and is free. One Colorado Springs company is already in negotiations for business as a result of its registration.
